about

This song pokes fun at the predictable nature of the average bargoer. I love how the outro section came together; it almost sounds like the band assembles into some sort of skribe-a-zord to walk the song out.
This one doesn't get much stage time, maybe it's time to change that?

lyrics

A clone walks into a bar
in a processed jingo town
boldly comments on how his gin & tonic's watered down
takes a good look at the waitress
tries to weasel her for a round
he don't know that he's about to be shot down.

I wonder if he noticed,
It's hard to tell if he cares.
You got them trained.
You got them trained.
Every time I get mad relief to hear you say...

They decide by the masses & they stand in line.
Occasionally they turn to one another for the time
and
their life's on program but they don't seem to mind.
Just keep on smiling like everything is fine.

I wonder if they notice,
it's hard to tell if they care
Every time I get mad relief to hear you say
hey
"What's the good word?"
"What's the news?"
We're flipping birds and sippin' home brew.
(x3)

You're automatic when you're filling your head up with oil.
You've got to have that dual antenna triple-ply tin foil.
So proud that I'm not
So proud that I'm not.
So proud that I'm not a fucking robot.
A robot.
A robot.
A robot.
