I took my first ever guitar lesson with the great Bryan Ewald last month. Something he explained about "tension" really clicked with me & I started thinking of it as a creative tool. I wrote the majority of this song the next day & let "taking the weirder route" be the impetus for any creative decision making. This carried through the tracking and mixing as well. We are super stoked with how this turned out & everyones energy was top notch in the studio.
